Hikers can follow the marked out GR34 path, the old customs officers'path and satisfy their thirst for freedon while enjoying exceptional panoramas .
There are more than 60km (37 miles) of hiking paths for you from Plouézec to Paimpol, Ploubazlanec, l'Arcouest, Bréhat, Loguivy and Plourivo.

Going through the Paimpol Goëlo area, you will discover Plouézec and the Craca Mill, the cliffs tour, Bréhec beaches, Pors Pin shore with 13 km (8 miles) of wild coast.
The Paimpol Goëlo tourist information office will give you for a small fee a multimedia hiking guide to help you understand the Breton coast life and history more fully.

The Scallop Festival, the Icelanders Festival, The Paimpol Coco(Green Bean) Festival, Breton dances around Lanleff temple, Noz Ar Vilin at the Craca Mill and numerous other Fest Noz (Festivals) take place during the tourist season.

The Paimpol Goëlo tourist information office keeps an updated calendar of all these activities : secondhand markets, exhibitions, festivals, fest noz, regattas, discovery outings, free visits etc ...

Many festive activities organized by dynamic local associations are scheduled all the year round. The most famous one is the Sailor Songs Festival which takes place once every two years in Paimpol harbour.
It is the place to be for all the music lovers and the traditional sailing boats amateurs.

Gastronomy and local products are a joy to gourmets and greedy people in the Tregor Goëlo area : just imagine a dish of seafood : a wide variety of crabs, common ones, velvet swimming crabs, spider crabs, other shellfish and shells, scallops, oysters, mussels, clams, cockles, whelks and winkles.
Inland, the moderate climate and the cool sea work together to produce a great variety of fresh vegetables and fruit : potatoes, leek, cauliflower, brocoli, onions, shallots, chicory. and the most typical of all Paimpol green bean called Coco Paimpolais which obtained its label of origin in 1998 Among the local products, Breton cider stands out. It goes so well with pancakes and « kig ha farz », this typical Breton cake.

As you stay in Paimpol, you will take time to visit the surrunding area to Perros Guirec and the pink granite coast.
On leaving Paimpol, you must have a walk in Lézardrieux harbour, then see Tréguier an dits cathedral, you can also stroll along the Sillon du Talbert.
From there, head to Port Blanc and its wonderful beaches, to Perros Guirec, one of the oldest spas on the Armor Coast together with Saint Quay Portrieux.
